This is not rare. It's structural.

Most footwear brands continue to produce within narrow size ranges to simplify their manufacturing, keep margins down and profits high. Extended sizes are viewed as niche — not worthy of the thoughtful design, premium materials, or aesthetic attention given to smaller sizes.

But women don't disappear at a size 10. And, looking at population statistics as far back as you can, women's feet have consistently been growing in size. 

So why haven't the main footwear brands been growing with the population needs?

In a world where the mass production of unimaginable junk is so ridiculously out of control, how is it that women's shoes still stop at a size 10? An item that is actually essential to the requirements of life, needed by a significant number of the human population - is still being regarded as niche, labeled too hard and simply disregarded. 

The industry has failed to evolve alongside the very women it supposedly represents.
